Job mission

Department description

The Marketing & Communication department drives Luxinnovation's brand visibility and stakeholder engagement across all channels.

The team produces high-quality visual and editorial content to support campaigns, events and digital communications for the agency and its programmes.

Job description

As a Graphic Design & Visual Production Intern, you will support the creative team in producing and adapting visual assets across print and digital channels.

Working closely with the Graphic Designer, you will focus on the hands-on execution and production of communication materials — from initial visual prototypes through to final deliverables such as flyers, web banners, social media posts, presentations and newsletters.

You will play a key role in ensuring brand consistency across all outputs and gain practical experience in managing the full graphic production chain for a national innovation agency.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Support the creation of visual assets for marketing and communication campaigns, events and social media

  • Design and adapt digital and print materials, including presentations, social media posts, banners, newsletters, flyers and other communication materials

  • Produce visual prototypes for validation, then deliver final adaptations across multiple formats and supports

  • Assist the Graphic Designer in developing creative concepts and visual directions for new projects

  • Create and edit graphics, images and other visual content while ensuring consistency with each brand's visual identity

  • Master and apply the full print and digital production chain (pre-press, format specifications, export settings, colour profiles)

  • Create and edit video and motion design content for the agency's brands, including animations, short-form videos, social media content and campaign assets

  • Help manage and organise creative files, assets and resources

  • Provide occasional on-site support at external events (set-up, signage, live visual content)

This list is not exhaustive. Additional tasks may be assigned to the holder of the job.

Required competencies

Education level and professional experience required

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bac+3 programme in graphic design, visual communication, motion design or a related creative field

  • A first practical experience (academic project, freelance work or previous internship) in graphic design or visual production is an asset

Specific competencies

  • Strong graphic design and visual composition skills with a sharp eye for typography, layout and colour

  • Solid command of the full print and digital production workflow (pre-press, bleed, colour profiles, responsive formats)

  • Ability to translate a creative concept into production-ready deliverables across multiple supports (flyers, banners, social media assets, presentations)

  • Knowledge of social media formats, dimensions and best practices for visual content

  • Sensitivity to brand identity guidelines and consistency across channels

  • Basics in UX/UI design are an asset

  • Creative mindset paired with a strong focus on execution, precision and meeting deadlines

  • Experience with AI-assisted creative tools is a plus (nice to have)

  • Ability to develop animated visual assets and motion graphics, and to adapt existing creative assets into engaging video and motion formats for different channels and platforms (nice to have)
