Electronics Engineering Intern (AIV)

We are seeking a motivated electronics engineering intern or working student to join our team in
Luxembourg. In this role, you will actively contribute to the assembly, integration, and verification (AIV)
of new-space satellite avionics and thruster products, as well as assist in their development.

Your tasks

During the internship you will:

  • Familiarize with AIV activities for avionics and/or thruster products.
  • Develop a fully automated solution for testing one or multiple subsystems.

Additionally, you may:

  • Contribute to predevelopment work of new space products (prototyping, simulations etc.)
  • Assist the subsystem leads in various other types of engineering tasks.

Essential characteristics

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics engineering or related field.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply etc.).
  • Previous experience with circuit design, electronics troubleshooting and rework.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English).

Strongly valued characteristics

  • Prior experience with analog and/or power electronics.
  • Familiarity with digital and/or RF electronics.
  • Prior experience with automated testing and control of test equipment.
  • Any programming experience (Python, VBA, other).
  • A positive and self-driven attitude. Capability of working independently when required.

Duty station and contract type

This is a 6-month internship or working student position located full time in Belval, Luxembourg with
occasional travels possibilities.
