Our lawyers need access to up to date content, information and research at the touch of a button. We collaborate with our Legal Technology and Process Improvement teams to introduce and drive innovative tools and practices, ensuring our lawyers have the support they need when they need it.
Our Knowledge teams work to support the firm’s objectives, engaging in focus groups and technology pilots and providing the “lawyer lens” on new products and initiatives, with a particular focus on the fast-moving area of AI, looking at AI-generated legal content, contracting and drafting.
In Luxembourg, our Knowledge team are responsible for providing a central knowledge hub. This role will help you grow your legal knowledge as well as your understanding the legal service industry.
We are currently offering an internship starting from June 2025. This internship role is for a fixed term of minimum 6 months.
Joining a well formed team, the role will focus on:
Main duties and responsibilities
Legal knowledge content development
- Support the team in updating and structuring internal databases (precedents, legal memos, templates, tools)
- Help classify, tag, and maintain internal legal knowledge (using metadata and taxonomy principles)
- Assist in creating and updating internal guides and practical resources
- Conduct simpler legal research tasks on various business law topics
Legal monitoring and horizon scanning
- Contribute to legal and regulatory monitoring (legislative changes, case law, publications)
- Help to prepare and shaping legal alerts, newsletters, and knowledge updates for lawyers
- Use and research for innovative AI tools for content management
Knowledge Projects
- Take part in internal projects aimed at improving tools and workflows
- Help design and test new KM tools, processes, or templates
- Gather user feedback to propose enhancements to existing solutions
Legal Learning
- Assist in developing legal learning content
- Review and evaluate legal learning solutions and services
- Contribute to delivering legal learning for legal interns and fee earners.
About you
- Curious, proactive, and have a passion for learning.
- Currently pursuing a master's degree in law, Information Science, Knowledge Management, or related field. Pursuing legal studies is not required but is considered as an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively
- Confident written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint, legal databases or monitoring tools is a plus.
- Interest in legal tech or innovation is an advantage.
- This role requires fluency in the English language, with fluency in French as an advantage.
