What it's about
As a Valuation Intern, you will be part of the Investment Valuation team for a period of 4 to 5 months. You will support the investment monitoring and valuation process across our asset classes.
You will:
Support the ongoing monitoring and tracking of the performance of various assets during our investment period
Assist in performing financial analysis and valuation for our investments across different asset classes using commonly accepted valuation methodologies
Help prepare valuation reports/memos
Interact with various teams, internally and externally (including service providers, auditors, etc.) related to monitoring and valuation related matters
Develop expertise in private markets valuations

What we expect
The successful person for this role should have the following:
Bachelorβs degree preferably in Accounting and/or Finance
Ideally completed internship(s) in the financial industry (within the area of private equity or valuation advisory or audit of alternative investment funds), with an understanding of the different categories of equity and debt instruments
A self-driven/directed, well organized person, able to manage and complete tasks effectively within demanding timelines
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong desire to learn and succeed
Proficient in MS Office and databases such as S&P Capital IQ, etc.
