Your team
Compliance is an independent control function whose mission is to identify and assess compliance risks and to support senior management in managing and monitoring those risks. The function helps ensure that the bank operates in line with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, protecting the institution from regulatory, financial and reputational risks.
The Compliance department is organised into four teams with responsibilities across BJBE and its subsidiaries.
As a Summer Intern, you will be placed within the Compliance function, supporting cross team management, governance, and organisational activities. During your journey, you will gain experience and insight into Compliance governance and operational processes, with a focus on internal committees, policy documentation, planning cycles, intranet page update, and knowledge management. You will work closely with Compliance team members across the function and be actively involved in structuring templates, supporting committee planning, and improving internal Compliance documentation and tools.
This role provides first hand experience and practical knowledge of how Compliance supports the business in a regulated wealth management environment.
YOUR CHALLENGE
What to work on
Support the preparation and enhancement of committee documentation templates, ensuring they are visually clear, well‑structured, and aligned with the latest corporate branding
Assist in the preparation and harmonization of policy templates, in line with Group standards and internal requirements
Support the update of the Compliance intranet page, ensuring alignment with Group standards and improving clarity, consistency, and usability of Compliance information for internal stakeholders
Contribute to the yearly planning of Compliance committees, including mapping key deliverables, milestones, and timelines
Help develop and structure an AML knowledge wiki
Support ad‑hoc management and coordination tasks within the Compliance function, as required by ongoing initiatives

YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor student from 2nd year onwards or enrolled Master student in the fields of Compliance, Business Management, or related
Initial practical experience in corporate or professional environment, and skills/knowledge in Compliance, banking, governance, business management, or regulatory topics is a plus
An analytical and structured approach to tasks, with the ability to contribute ideas while respecting internal frameworks and standards.
Comfortable working with professional tools and quick to familiarise yourself with new systems and applications required to deliver high‑quality output
Strong Excel skills, with the ability to structure, analyse, and maintain planning or tracking materials
Able to work independently on assigned topics, taking ownership and responsibility for deliverables
Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in new and evolving environments
Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning
Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus
Registered in Luxembourg with a valid work permit
