YOUR MISSION:
Join our engineering team in driving the successful development of our cutting-edge space system, ScienceTaxi. This includes hands-on involvement in manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of real space hardware.
Ideal starting date: Mid January 2025
YOUR TASKS:
- Manufacture, assemble, integrate and test current and future space hardware
- Support in development and running missions
- Support Engineering Team in all activities
- Develop, adapt and design future space hardware
- Implement new state-of-the-art production technologies (rapid prototyping, 3D printing)
- Produce your own prototypes
- Assemble, integrate, test and calculate current and future flight hardware
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- You are an enrolled student in mechanical, aerospace, automotive engineering, or a similar field
- You have experience with CAD (ideally Catia V6) and FEM calculations (ideally NASTRAN solver)
- You are proficient in MS Office
- You are a team player with good communication skills, supportive, well-organized, and able to work independently
- You speak and write fluently in English, with good skills in German and/or French being a plus
- Self-motivated and proactive

Yuri is a space biotech company founded in 2019 that uses the microgravity environment of space to develop and manufacture superior biotech products. Yuri's locations are in Germany and in Luxembourg - our headquarters in Meckenbeuren and our R&D office in Esch-sur-Alzette.The team of 30+ space engineers and biologists has worked on 20+ payloads for the International Space Station in collaboration with organizations like NASA, ESA, GSK, Charité Berlin.
