Who we’re looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic Student/Intern to join our Compliance team in our Luxembourg office, supporting our asset management business in Luxembourg and our eleven branches across EMEA.
The team
The Compliance team is a highly experienced and competent local team of 9 professionals with excellent technical and business expertise, analytical skills, commitment and strong values and ethical standards. The team has a very open and collaborative work approach, handling multiple tasks efficiently as a team, holding each other accountable and delivering to high standards. The team is committed to continuously learning, sharing ideas, embracing change and enjoying our working day.
What you’ll do
As an intern in Compliance, you will be involved in the following projects:
- Support in legal and regulatory research on applicable rules and regulations and in drafting advice to business on compliance issues
- Maintain the compliance calendar of reporting obligations for the firm
- Support to update and maintain compliance procedures and policies
- Co-ordinate the completion of monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly Compliance reports to management.
- Support in conducting compliance monitoring reviews of different areas
- Support in the review of marketing materials
- Support in scanning for regulatory changes and preparing briefing notes on regulatory changes A university degree in business or law or a related field
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Fluent English both written and oral – additional European language skills would be of benefit
- Good research skills Good organizational skills and computer literacy in Excel and Word
