Your mission
You will be part of a dedicated proposal response team whose mission is to support the creation of tailored, accurate, and impactful proposals that reflect the company’s brand and strategic vision for a wide range of clients and sectors.
As a Trainee, you will play an active role in ensuring every proposal is meticulously managed from initiation to submission—delivered on time, every time. You will learn to coordinate with subject matter experts and stakeholders, structure and refine proposal content, and uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Throughout your traineeship, you will be involved in orchestrating the proposal process, proactively tracking milestones and deadlines, and helping to ensure that each submission not only meets client expectations but also showcases the firm’s unique strengths and values—always within strict timelines. Your contribution will help drive the success of the team and reinforce the company’s reputation for excellence.
- Participate in the entire proposal process alongside the Proposal Manager and business team, gaining exposure to all stages;
- Help set up the initial proposal structure according to RFP guidelines, together with the Proposal Manager;
- Collect and process information needed to answer RFPs, such as boilerplates, CVs, capabilities, client references, and signatures, including liaising with other territories as needed;
- Collect and create standard paragraphs for future proposals, contributing to the Knowledge Base and updating materials regularly;
- Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting proposal documents for various business opportunities;
- Edit and proofread written material, mainly in English, for proposals and related business requests;
- Regularly update internal follow-up and reporting tools to track progress and deadlines;
- Use project management tools to support the proposal cycle and ensure all steps are completed on time;
- Take meeting minutes, follow up on assigned tasks, and ensure information is delivered to relevant stakeholders;
- Collaborate with internal teams (subject matter experts, business development, marketing) to gather necessary information and insights;
- Monitor deadlines and coordinate submission processes to ensure timely delivery;
- Support the development of templates, checklists, and best practice guides for proposal writing;
- Participate in feedback sessions and contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal processes.
- You are currently pursuing or have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field; (e.g., Business, Communications, Marketing, or similar); and are looking for a 6 month internship starting in May or September
- You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in; proficiency in other languages is considered an asset;
- You have excellent computer skills (MS Office) and are comfortable using digital collaboration tools to support proposal development and submission;
- You are able to use AI tools thoughtfully to draft, edit, and summarise content;
- You are stress resistant and able to cope with multiple projects and short timelines.
- You have experience and/or interest in the financial services sector;
- You are a team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and departments;
- You are rigorous, curious, and proactive, with a keen attention to detail.
