How will you contribute?
As an intern, you will help explore and demonstrate how multimodal AI can support semantic image augmentation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Reviewing state-of-the-art image-augmentation methods, including traditional techniques and approaches based on generative and multimodal AI.
Testing multimodal models to generate or enrich images using textual descriptions, prompts, and baseline images.
Comparing the results to assess image quality, relevance to the text, and usefulness for data augmentation.
Developing a simple demonstrator for semantic image augmentation.
Documenting your work and contributing to dissemination activities, such as presentations, reports, or demonstrations.

Education
You are in the final year of a Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, statistics, or a related field.
You have completed at least one academic or personal project involving the practical application of AI or software development. A project portfolio is welcome.
You have a good foundation in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
You are comfortable programming in Python.
You have an interest in computer vision and image processing.
Familiarity with generative AI, multimodal models, prompt engineering, or image-generation tools is an advantage.
Experience evaluating AI models or building a simple demonstrator is also an asset.
You can work independently while collaborating with a team.
You are comfortable working in an agile environment and communicating your progress and findings.
Language skills
Fluency in English both oral and written. Other relevant languages are an asset.
