As an intern in ManCo (Management Company) Risk Management in Luxembourg, you will be part of a department based in Geneva, Luxembourg, London, and Tokyo.
You will work closely with our experienced risk management professionals, contributing to various risk assessment, monitoring, and mitigation activities.

  • Prerequisite : a tripartite internship agreement signed with your school

Your role


  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of risk management policies, procedures, and methodologies to effectively identify, assess, and manage risks within the Management Company.
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of risks associated with investment strategies, financial products, and operational processes.
  • Help analyze risk metrics in the context of regular risk controlling activities.
  • Contribute to the preparation of risk reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to responses to internal or external stakeholders’ requests.
  • Assist in the evaluation and enhancement of risk monitoring tools and systems, and in the ongoing maintenance of risk data.
  • Participate in risk-related projects and initiatives, providing valuable insights and contributing to their successful implementation.
  • Assist in coordinating risk management meetings, documenting meeting minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Assist in the risk analysis of products to be launched.
  • Assist the Manco Risk Management team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including portfolio managers, compliance officers, legal advisors, and operations teams, to ensure risk considerations are integrated into business decisions and processes.

Your profile


  • Currently pursuing or having recently completed a university degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience/keen interest in the world of asset management, acquired through internships and/or academic projects.
  • Basic understanding of risk management concepts and methodologies.
  • Skilled user of the standard office IT software (incl. MS Office suite).
  • Knowledge of Python, Tableau and VBA programming and AI tools is an advantage.
  • Must be fluent in English and French, written and spoken.

This one-year internship offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to risk management practices within the asset management industry.
